
Rome Clifford Katz & Koerner LLP Associate Paula Skayem was sworn in to the Connecticut Bar by Partner Chris Sica.
Paula Skayem, an Associate with Rome, Clifford Katz & Koerner, LLP since shortly after receiving her Juris Doctorate from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2022, was sworn in as a licensed Connecticut attorney in early May.
The swearing in ceremony was held at the firm’s Hartford office, with Partner Chris Sica officiating.
Attorney Skayem works primarily with Partner Alan Rome and Attorney Sica on Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation cases.
She also holds an Advanced Certificate in Health Law & Policy from Pace’s law school, which positions her to work with Attorneys Rome and Sica on Medical Malpractice cases, an area of focus for the firm.
Graduating with honors, Attorney Skayem competed in a Mock Trial Competition while in law school and was selected as a quarterfinalist. She also participated in the Student Bar Association, received several recognitions for academic excellence, and worked as a law clerk.
Attorney Skayem, who is bilingual and speaks Arabic, is a native of Connecticut and enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore new places.
